The Brief

Deja Vu, a girl group formed by Elle Botterill and Tyrece Lewis from Buckinghamshire and Venezuelan-born Carolina Diaz, joined The Pussycat Dolls on stage during the dance break of "Buttons" on the 20-date PCD Forever Tour across the UK and Europe.

Kimberly Wyatt personally invited the trio to perform, marking their first-ever live shows. The tour concluded at London's O2 on Tuesday, having visited cities including Prague and Paris. The group, who formed during the Covid-19 pandemic and reached the semi-finals of The Voice UK in 2023, described the experience as "surreal" and a masterclass.

Lewis said they went "from dancing for social media videos on street corners to swimming with great whites," while Diaz admitted to initial imposter syndrome but felt the tour taught them they are "capable and deserving." Botterill recounted, "Even afterwards, we were just like, 'I can't believe that's actually just happened.'"

Lewis added that Nicole Scherzinger told them she was proud of them, which "is everything to us." The trio now focuses on their own original music ahead of a debut headline show at The Grace in London on 1 December.
