Ex-JPMorgan banker Chirayu Rana faces yet another setback in ‘sex slave’ lawsuit
Based on reporting by New York Post.

The Brief
Chirayu Rana, the former JPMorgan banker who sued the bank alleging a senior executive forced him to become her "sex slave," has lost his third lawyer in the ongoing legal battle. Attorney Jon Norinsberg filed a motion on Wednesday to withdraw from the case, citing "irreconcilable differences" with Rana, according to court documents filed in Manhattan federal court.
The lawyers requested a sealed filing to explain their exit, citing "privileged and confidential information."
Rana filed the $20 million lawsuit in April under the pseudonym "John Doe," accusing executive director Lorna Hajdini of drugging him, using racial slurs, and coercing him into a sexual relationship in exchange for career protection. Hajdini and JPMorgan have denied the allegations, calling them fabrications. A bank investigation found no evidence of misconduct, and Hajdini has countersued Rana for defamation.
The latest filing before Norinsberg's exit dropped or softened several claims, including Rana's assertion that he was a top private credit dealmaker earning over $2 million annually. The suit now describes his next firm's pay package as "potential." JPMorgan spokesperson reiterated support for Hajdini, stating the allegations have no merit.
Rana's previous attorney, Daniel Kaiser, withdrew in May, and another legal team reportedly failed to negotiate a settlement above $20 million.
