Illegal immigrant accused of fentanyl dealing linked to Virginia high school overdoses

A 25-year-old man crosses the border, ends up in Loudoun County, and allegedly starts moving fentanyl near a high school. That's the whole story in one sentence, and it's the kind of sentence that used to get a politician run out of town for saying it out loud. Now it's just Tuesday.

Loudoun County isn't some forgotten border town. It's one of the wealthiest counties in America, full of school board fights and lawn signs about inclusion. And somehow a drug dealer allegedly working the perimeter of Park View High School walked through the same immigration system everyone insists is under control. Kids overdosing near their own school isn't an abstraction for a cable news panel. It's an ambulance parked outside a building where teenagers are supposed to be safe.
