Immigrants Sue Mamdani Over ‘Disastrous’ Government-Owned Grocery Store Plan

The people suing Zohran Mamdani over his government grocery store scheme aren't Fox News regulars. They're immigrant grocers, the exact demographic every progressive mayor claims to champion, and they're telling him in plain terms that his plan will put them out of business. If Mamdani wants to lower grocery prices, there are real ways to do it: cut red tape, ease permitting, lower the tax burden that squeezes these stores in the first place. Opening a government-run rival isn't policy innovation. It's just picking winners and losers, and the losers happen to be the immigrants he says he's fighting for.
