The Brief
Texas Senate candidate James Talarico disappeared from the campaign trail for almost two weeks. His campaign said he was sidelined with the flu, but a phone call appears to confirm he was a patient at the Lindner Center of Hope, a mental health facility near Cincinnati, Ohio.
The Talarico campaign responded by calling the report a lie. Republican Texas AG Ken Paxton's campaign has trolled Talarico, releasing a press release asking for proof of life.
