Jewish Democrats contend with another glass ceiling: Their religion

There is something almost poetic about Democrats discovering that religion can be a political liability. Jon Ossoff is a talented young senator from Georgia with a real shot at the 2028 nomination. But party strategists are already whispering that his Jewish faith could be a problem in the primary. This is the same party that insists identity doesn't matter, unless it helps them win an election.

The uncomfortable truth is that Ossoff's problem isn't the American people. It's his own party's left wing, which has turned Israel into a litmus test.
