Reparations activists call out Democrat states for using slavery

The Democrat Party loves to lecture Americans about historical sins, but the truth is written in their own records. These very states—the ones pushing reparations today—were the ones who fought to keep slavery alive, then used convict leasing to chain Black men for decades after emancipation. What America needs is not reparations for deeds we never did, but opportunity for the future we can all build. The real scandal is that Democrat-run cities have failed Black families for generations—with failing schools, broken police departments, and policies that trap people in poverty. If they truly cared about justice, they would fight for school choice, safe neighborhoods, and jobs that lift people up. Instead, they want to divide us by race and class to keep their power.
