Rubio confirms 'foreign actor' involved in UK terror plot

So much for the "Iran threat is a distraction" crowd. Secretary of State Marco Rubio has now confirmed what many of us suspected from the start: a foreign actor was behind the terror plot near RAF Fairford, and the trail leads back to Tehran. That's not a coincidence. That's a pattern. The same regime that has spent years funding proxies and plotting assassinations on Western soil has now put coalition airbases in its crosshairs. This wasn't some lone wolf with a knife. It was state-sponsored terrorism with a capital "I."

Let's give Rubio credit for saying it plainly. The Biden administration spent four years tiptoeing around Iran, restoring sanctions relief and pretending the nuclear deal made us safer. It didn't. The mullahs took that money and invested in more mayhem. Now we're seeing the payoff. RAF Fairford is where American B-52s and RC-135s launch from. It's about as NATO as you can get. So hitting that target isn't just an attack on Britain, it's an attack on the entire alliance and the American men and women who fly out of there. The president's maximum pressure campaign is the right answer. The left will call it escalation, but we tried their approach. It produced this.
