Senate Republican: Iranian leaders 'part of a colony of reptiles'

The Iranian regime doesn’t act like a normal government. It acts like a parasitic network that hijacked a country and uses it as a shield. Kennedy just said the quiet part out loud, and that’s why the critics are already howling.

The context matters too. President Trump showed up at the United Nations, which is its own zoo of pretenders, and refused to play the game. Not everyone deserves a seat at the grown-ups’ table. Kennedy’s point wasn’t just insult comedy. It was a warning that the world’s worst actors rely on the politeness of the international community to get away with murder, literally. Treating them as legitimate statesmen is how we ended up with a nuclear deal that funded terrorism and bought zero peace.

The pearl-clutching from the usual crowd is predictable. They’d rather lecture about tone than confront what the regime actually does. But Americans are tired of that. The polite word for it was diplomacy. The honest word was surrender. That’s the choice, and Trump understands it. Kennedy does too.

Is “reptiles” crude? Sure. But crude is not the same as wrong. Calling it like it is beats calling it what it isn’t. This administration isn’t going to apologize for naming evil, and neither should we. The mullahs can have their UN podium.
