Tim Walz Just Got Roasted for Lying About Rescued Campers

Add in the pardon of a sex offender and a pattern of going soft on illegal immigration enforcement, and you start to see a guy who treats the truth and the rules as flexible depending on what serves him that day.

None of this is shocking anymore, which is almost the point. Walz was one heartbeat away from the presidency not long ago, and Democrats ran him as the folksy, trustworthy Midwestern dad type. The gap between that packaging and the actual record keeps widening, and stories like this one, petty as they might seem, are exactly why voters stopped buying it.
