Desperate Democrats Resort to Attack Ad Filled With Falsehoods to

The House Majority PAC could have picked anyone to vouch for their new attack ad in Texas’s 15th District. They picked a man who assaulted a police officer. That’s the whole story, really. If you are running a campaign on "protecting democracy" and your star witness is someone who punched the law, you’ve stopped pretending about what you’re doing.

The ad is built on falsehoods from a violent source. Democrats call it transparency. Normal people call it digging through the gutter because you have nothing else left. The Republican in this race is running on border security and affordability. The left’s answer is to recycle a criminal complaint from a guy with a badge assault on his record. They are not trying to win you over. They are trying to scare you into submission. That tells you everything about their confidence in their own message.

Voters in South Texas are not stupid. They know what it means when a well-funded outside group has to import a cop-assailant to sell a lie. It means they have no case. It means they can’t defend the open border, so they attack the messenger instead. And it means the folks running that PAC think you’ll believe anything as long as it’s screamed loud enough.

This is what desperation looks like in October. The more they spend, the more obvious it is. Let them show their hand. We’ll show up and vote for the side that doesn’t need a criminal to make its argument.
