Former Biden COVID-19 response coordinator Dr. Ashish Jha says pandemic ‘probably was a lab leak’

Ashish Jha isn't some fringe voice who spent 2021 posting anonymously about gain-of-function research. He ran point on the Biden administration's entire COVID response. So when the man who stood at that podium now says the lab leak is probably what happened, that's not a footnote. That's an admission that the people steering the ship for years were steering it in the wrong direction, on purpose or through willful blindness, while telling the rest of us to shut up and trust the experts.

Remember how this played out in real time. Anyone who floated the Wuhan lab as a plausible source got flagged, throttled, or mocked as a conspiracy theorist. Facebook posts got removed. Reporters got laughed off panels.
