GOP Bleeding Young Male Voters Right Before Midterms

Republicans were supposed to be making inroads with young men. For a while, the numbers showed it. Now a new survey says that support is slipping just as the midterms bear down. That should worry every Republican who spent the past two years assuming the gender gap would quietly do us a favor.

The problem isn't that young men want a lecture. They get enough of those from Democrats who call them toxic and tell them their instincts are a disorder. They want a party that talks about their actual lives: the cost of a starter home, the frustration of a degree that didn't guarantee a job, the one word they never hear from politicians. That word is manhood. Not as a slogan.
