IN KEENE, the presidential election of Nov. 6, 1860, had Abraham Lincoln of Illinois as the leader, receiving 635 of the 895 votes cast. He and his vice-presidential nominee Hannibal Hamlin of Maine represented the anti-slavery Republican Party.
