Conservatives aren’t allergic to compassion. But rule of law matters, and so does plain-language policy. When agencies stretch definitions to mandate contested social theories, they invite confusion, litigation, and uneven enforcement. That is not inclusion. It is governance by memo.

Housing rules also affect public trust and women’s privacy and safety, especially in sex-segregated facilities. The goal should be predictable standards that protect the vulnerable without coercing everyone else to pretend biology is optional.
